Working from Home

Last week I worked from home on Thursday, Saturday & Sunday. I felt that I am more productive when I worked from home. I also realized that Internet is the thing, which sucks most of my time at work. I wish they could block my machine for Internet access [hey I am just kidding ;-)]. What you guys feel about working from home?

I tried it. My problem is my home PC is low in RAM, so openoffice, firefox, evolution and several instances of gvim are deadly combination. I find my home to be just ok for writing/reading mails or documents. Plus I need a fast connection to our lab to run gdb on our routers. So debugging ... is hard.

Brief a little more .. Add up details like how much time did you spend working ..... ? Lets know the schedule.

For me I guess the environment at home gives me poor interaction with the team especially in a job where team interaction is a must.

Once in a week I am trying to work from home, meaning usual timings of office. Mostly during coding, document writing etc. phases. If I have meetings etc. I need to be there at office any way.
